THERAPEUTIC VITAMINS-MINERALS CAPSULES
(VITACON FORTE CAPSULES)

Each black and orange capsule for oral administration contains:

Vitamin A

8000 IU

Vitamin E

50 IU

Vitamin C (Ascorbic Acid)

150 mg

Zinc Sulfate, USP *

80 mg

Magnesium Sulfate, USP **

Niacinamide

25 mg

Vitamin B1 (Thiamine Mononitrate)

INDICATIONS

Vitacon Forte Capsules are indicated for the treatment and/or prevention of vitamin and mineral deficiencies associated with restricted diets, improper food intake, alcoholism, and decreased absorption. Vitacon Forte Capsules are also indicated in patients with increased requirements for vitamins and minerals due to chronic disease, infections, and burns and in persons using alcohol to excess. Preoperative and postoperative use of Vitacon Forte Capsules can provide the increased amounts of vitamins and minerals necessary for optimal recovery from the stress of surgery.

DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

One capsule daily, or as directed by physician.

HOW SUPPLIED

Orange and black capsules with imprint "AMIDE 078" on cap and body in bottles of 100, 500 and 1000 capsules.

Dispense in a tight, light-resistant container with child-resistant closure as defined in the USP/NF.

Store at controlled room temperature 15°- 30°C (59°- 86°F)

PRECAUTIONS

General

Folic acid in doses above 0.1 mg daily may obscure pernicious anemia in that hematological remission can occur while neurological manifestations remain progressive.
